Before Morris & Co, I was a destination wedding photographer. No connections, no established market, no marketing budget. What I had was SEO. I learned to rank in cities I’d never set foot in, and those rankings booked me weddings in markets like Boston, Newport, and Aruba.
Other vendors started asking how I was doing it. Venues asked. Planners asked. Somewhere in there I realized the photography was the job, but the getting-found system behind it was the business.
When I left weddings, I spent years as a CMO for SaaS companies and startups. Then I brought it all back to the people I understand best: business owners whose work is their name.
